Thank you, Arcaine, for the Rylsky anecdote. Freeones.com lists all the following names for her: Xenia Sergeevna Semiokhina, Aksina Semiohina, Ksenia Barinova, Ksenia, Kira, and (oddly) Amanda Moore. Hiding somewhere in there is probably her real name!

I don't know what spaced-out new-age Californian though up this Jeff = Peaceful nonsense. In fact, it's all arse-about-face. Jeff is short for Jeffrey or Geoffrey, an Anglo-Norman masculine name of Germanic origin (the German is Gottfried). The two bits come from "Gott"= god and "Frieden"=peace. So, if anything at all, this gender-bending "Jeff" means "god", not "peace".

All very true, very cute and adorable, I delight in looking at her pictures, and great thanks to mank0vy for publishing so many. But, but, but ... whoever chose that name for her? "Jeff" is a masculine name, and whenever I see it in the tags it makes me groan inwardly, diminishing that 100% delight.
